Responding to the pressures the NHS and local primary care services are under Dr Lawrence has opened up his clinic, recognising that some people may wish to supplement the care they receive from the NHS with self-funded private healthcare.

I cannot praise Dr Lawrence too highly. He saw me within 24 hours of making an appointment. Carefully listened to what I had to say, gave me a thorough physical examination, analyzed a specimen and provided an interim solution which kept me out of hospital.
I am writing this not as one of Dr Lawrence’s patients but as the wife of one. My husband had been a patient of Dr Lawrence for several years now and suffers from acute kidney and heart failure. He has always received excellent care from him. However in the last few months since my husband’s condition has deteriorated the care, attention and support he has received from Dr Lawrence have been quite exceptional. Dr Lawrence has been monitoring his condition daily and requesting weight, blood pressure and fluid intake to identify whether his medication should be amended or stopped . The type of input from a doctor is in my experience extremely rare but Dr Lawrence makes the time to ensure my husband feels supported and listened to when other medical professionals have neither the time nor the inclination to be so involved. His extensive knowledge and personally engaging manner means he’s easy to talk to and to share concerns. I know he has made a difference to my husband’s mental wellbeing.
I don’t recall seeing another doctor/clinician who has been so willing and able to explain the symptoms, diagnosis and planned treatment in a way in which the patient can understand

Kidney diseases I treat include: glomerulonephritis, diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephropathy, polycystic Kidney disease, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, renovascular disease, lupus, vasculitis, nephrotic syndrome, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury.
Medical problems I treat include: hypertension. I also provide a general 'medical' service, report writing.
Procedures I perform include: kidney biopsies and line insertions.
I also undertake medicolegal work and DVLA medicals
